Why We Exist
When our twin boys were born at 31 weeks in June 2023, my wife Cindy and I spent 68 days in the NICU. Both came home healthy, but a few months later we noticed our son Gabriel wasn't hitting certain milestones.
Testing led to a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy and muscle spasticity. Over the next two years we traveled to CHOP, Duke University in North Carolina for stem cell therapy, and NAPA Therapy Center in Boston for an intensive program. Every trip came with the same question: where do we stay, and how do we afford it?
Most apps show what's in a city — none show how close it is to the hospital, the pharmacy, or a park for the kids. That's why I started VitaStay — to charge less so families like mine can stay the full three weeks without worry. VitaStay LLC was born on April 12, 2026.

How a family's medical journey became a mission to help others.
On June 18, 2023, our twin boys Gabriel and Luka were born at 31 weeks. Gabriel wasn't breathing at birth; Luka was. Both were intubated as a precaution and spent 68 days in the NICU. Both came home healthy.
My wife Cindy noticed Gabriel wasn't hitting certain milestones. Testing led to a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy and muscle spasticity. We began therapy at home with Early Intervention and soon discovered intensive therapy programs — his first at CHOP.
We took Gabriel to Duke University in North Carolina for stem cell therapy, then to NAPA Therapy Center in Boston for an intensive program. That's when the question hit us: where do we stay, and how do we afford it? This wasn't one trip — it was his path to a better life.
In February 2026, we took Gabriel to NAPA Center in North Carolina for another intensive therapy program — another step in his journey toward a better quality of life.
After months of research and planning, VitaStay LLC was officially founded on April 12, 2026. Built to search for housing near hospitals and therapy centers — with supermarkets, pharmacies, and parks nearby — at rates families can actually afford.
In June 2026, we added a Regular Stay option so anyone can browse available listings in any city they want to visit — making VitaStay useful for families, travel nurses, and everyday travelers alike.
Meet the Founder
The person behind VitaStay — driven by personal experience and a belief that housing is part of healthcare.
My name is Arsenio Rodriguez, Founder and CEO of VitaStay. I am a Husband, father, a soldier, and a Refrigeration technician who became a founder to solve a problem my family lived firsthand — the same challenge many parents like my wife and me have faced.
